Niall WilkinsonHi everyone. My name is Niall Innis Wilkinson – most people call me Innis. I am a bit of a charity adrenalin junky doing activities under water, on top of water and now up mountains. I swam with sharks for the Alzheimer’s Society, raced a yacht across the north Atlantic for Save the Children, and now climbing 3 mountains in 24 hours. This latest challenge is going to be the hardest physically, however with many years experience of fell walking it is one I have dreamt of doing for a number of years. I am intending to raise money for the R.N.L.I. specifically the Hoylake new lifeboat appeal. http://www.rnli.org.uk/how_to_support_us/appeals/hoylake_appeal/hoylake_appeal Hoylake lifeboat station is one of the closest stations to my home, and have recently been successful in raising money to open a new lifeboat station building, and are now looking to house a brand new boat in this building. With all my sailing adventures it is always reassuring that there is an organisation, manned by highly trained individuals, willing to risk their own lives to save people in trouble at sea. It still amazes me that these brave people all do it as volunteers and the running of all the boats and stations is from dedicated fundraisers, and it is this very worthwhile cause I endeavour to help. I am married with two children and lived my whole life in Crewe - surrounded by the mountainous region of the Cheshire plain!! My interests include, sailing, rock climbing and fell walking – thankfully!! And am really looking forward to joining the rest of the team in some of the most stunning areas the British Isles has to offer, while raising money for good causes, and testing my stamina to the limit. Thank you for looking at my profile, and logging onto our website. I hope keeping track of our adventure interests you into also challenging yourselves for a good cause.
