I am divorced from my first wife, who I have 2 fantastic little girls with, Amy who is 13 years old and Beth who is 11 years old. Both of whom enjoy our trips to the local climbing wall in Worcester.

I now live with my much suffering partner Jaq who has a 19 year old daughter Emily. We also have 3 dogs, Harvey a 6 year old golden retriever, Joshua a 2.5 year old field spaniel and Saphy a 3 year old cocker spaniel, 2 ancient cats William and Meg and 8 chickens.

I have been climbing for 33 years completing mountains such as  Mont Blanc in France, which is 16,800 feet high, Kala Pata in Nepal, which is 18,500 feet high, where in Nov 07 I marshalled the Everest marathon and visited base camp and the Wiessmies in Austria, which is . I also have completed some excellent climbs in the UK such as Coronation Street in Cheddar gorge and the Cullin ridge on the isle of Skye to name a few.

I have also previously completed the 3 peaks challenge in 21 hours and can’t believe I’ve agreed to go through the extreme pain again, it must be like child birth, time dulls the memories.

My chosen charity is the Special Olympics in Worcester, where a friend on mine’s son, Ben who is autistic, regularly attends events.
